Welcome to the RANZCO NSW BRANCH
Annual Scientific Meeting 2025

The NSW Branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists invites you to attend the ASM on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March 2025 at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney.

The theme will be “The Eye and Beyond: The Medicine of Ophthalmology”. In a deliberately and decidedly different approach, we are stepping out of our comfort zone to focus on other areas of medicine and how they relate to ophthalmology. Specifically, the critical role our non-ophthalmology colleagues play in helping us preserve vision.

Speakers from fields as diverse as Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Radiology will address the practical challenges and emerging trends that impact how we care for our patients.

Basically, all you ever wanted to know about everything outside the eye, but never got a chance to ask!

We are also excited to announce our invited International speakers will include the President of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London and eminent ophthalmologists from the Pacific.

The Committee also encourages you and your junior colleagues to share your passion and expertise by submitting an abstract for the Posters session and be in the running for the prizes on offer.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Sydney for the RANZCO NSW ASM 2025!
